How to Entertain Children in a Hot Tub
Hot tubs are one of the best investments you can make for your family. Mom and dad get to relax and enjoy the wonderful benefits of hydrotherapy, and kids get together to play without the gadgets and gizmos. Next time the whole gang gets together, try some of these games that’ll have the munchkins begging for more.
These are super fun and easy while encouraging imagination and independent thinking. Try a round of “Two Truths and a Fib” where the first player tells two facts about themselves and one fib, the other players have to guess which fact is actually fiction. Turns out, this is a cool way to gsg_learn more about your teens, and show them mom and dad might not be so lame after all.
Or, you could play “If I were…” a fun game for younger children in which they fill in the blanks with their favorite things and why. For example: “If I were a fruit, I’d be a banana because yellow is my favorite color!”.
Let the Race Begin!
Break out the rubber ducks and bathtub boats and have the kids race each other using only the jets and water – no touching the actual toys. Let them race to the other side of the hot tub, or have them go round and round for an extra challenge. You can offer prizes if you’d like, such as the winner picks out a movie for the whole family to watch.
Yep, you read that right, board games in your hot tub. Did you know that you can find waterproof games like UNO and playing cards that are perfect for childhood classics like “Go Fish”. There are even floating game boards if the kids prefer something more like checkers.
