Turn your Swim Spa into a Gym for the Best Workout Ever

Turn your Swim Spa into a Gym for the Best Workout Ever

Ready to dive into fitness? Or, maybe you’re a seasoned exercise guru in need of a little spice in your everyday routine. Wherever you are on your fitness journey, one thing is for sure: you don’t have to splurge on gym memberships to get healthy. In fact, you can get some of the most effective workouts in your very own backyard with your Endless Pools® Fitness System swim spa.

Your choice of workout equipment may vary depending on the particular routine you want to do.  Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

Underwater Treadmill

This addition to your swim spa allows you to walk, jog, or run and can be used with or without the current depending on the intensity desired. Walking is one of the best low-impact workouts you can do, and walking in water is the perfect warm-up. The treadmill is great for this, but you can also walk in place with or without the current. Aim for at least five to ten minutes, increasing your speed and time as you build up endurance.

Cycling underwater with the Aquabike offers more joint support than riding a bike on dry land and offers a wonderful flexibility when it comes to intensity. Slow and steady is perfect for improving balance and a low-impact session. You can always pedal faster when you’re ready to enjoy that calorie-burning zone. Try cycling in conjunction with the current on your swim spa for a higher intensity workout.

Not only does a swim spa offer a more challenging and effective workout, the water also creates a supportive environment cushioning joints, improving balance and muscle coordination, and allowing those with special considerations a safe place to exercise. Contact us at SpaExpo today and we’ll help you find the Endless Pools® Fitness System of your dreams.
